All MvTv component software is downloadable from this page, and is fully functioning, however specific URL's, passwords or licenses may be required to enter or operate them.  You can learn how to obtain the necessary items next to the components below.

If you're interested in running our MvTv demonstration applications, or are looking to install a fully functioning version, here's what you'll need:

  Please go thru this checklist and insure you have the hardware required, then install the required software components in the order as displayed below to avoid potential errors.
 
Hardware:  
Intel Pentium II 400 MHz Intel Pentium IV 2.4 GHz+ preferred for MvTv Clients for playback of high definition videos
64MB RAM 256 MB RAM+ preferred for playback of high definition videos
8 MB RAM 16 bit color 2X AGP graphics adapter 64 MB 32 bit color 4X AGP graphics adapter with TV out (or better)
16 bit Audio card 24 bit PCI Audio card or onboard device
Free hard drive space 100-250 MB of free hard drive space required depending on components currently installed on the target PC, plus MvTv software as well as sample video clips that may be automatically downloaded to the MvTv Client Station over the Internet.
 
Software:  
Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, 2003 Operating Systems MvTv Components operate on Microsoft Windows XP Pro & Home and 2000 Pro and Server, and 2003 Server versions. 
 
MvTv Components This is a Microsoft .Net application... if the product does not work properly, you're most likely missing .Net. Using your browser, go to Windows Update, and download .Net (which is a recommended, not required download). 
 
Microsoft Windows Media Player 9+ Series

MvTv Repeater Client Station

Approx. 6 MB

The MvTv Repeater Client Configures a PC to play "looping" or "repeating" video clips on a PC or out to a TV or even an entire cable plant such as found in hospitals and hotels. 

MvTv Client Stations call the MvTv Server every minute (by default) to check for new video content or text messages programmed by the MvTv Administrator... and downloads them automatically if they exist.

Slow or broken Internet connections during downloads don't bother the MvTv Client!)

This demonstration consists of you downloading and setting up our MvTv Repeater Client on your own PC. Once you launch it, it will automatically connect to our MvTv Repeater Server, download then play samples of quality video in a loop. The intention is to show you that even full screen, high definition video can be uploaded, downloaded and managed across the Internet by our MvTv Systems.

Our installation package includes a readme file. Be sure to read the readme file in its entirety, as the MvTv Repeater Client plays full screen, and starts when Windows starts. If you haven't read the readme file and you need help, click here to access the readme file now.

To view the demonstration, Download the MvTv Repeater Client by clicking "here".

Copy this "zipped" package to a new folder on your PC, and "Unzip" the contents to the same folder. You'll find a readme file in the unzipped folder. Read it, or click on the following link to refer to the installation instructions which are necessary for a successful installation. Double-click on the "Setup.exe" file and follow the instructions on your screen, and fill in the blanks as per the readme file.

You might have to wait up to 1/2 an hour for the videos to download and start to play. If more than a 1/2 hour has passed since you've launched the MvTv Repeater Client, please reboot your PC to restart the application. It will auto launch when your Windows restarts.

Note: Please contact us if you can't connect... we may have reassigned port numbers or passwords for requested client demonstrations.

Contact us in order to try out your own MvTv Repeater Administrator or Server. Please email support@microvideo.com to request an MvTv Repeater Admin username and password or an MvTv Repeater Server license to start testing your own MvTv Repeater System.

 
MvTv Repeater Administrator

(Allows the end user to modify the MvTv playlists over the Internet so that the MvTv Client plays modified content on schedule. Also allows the optional automatic updates of scrolling text messages on the screen)

Download this component by clicking "here". Copy this 'Zipped" package to a folder on your PC, and "Unzip the contents to the same folder. Double-click on the "Setup.exe" file and follow the instructions on your screen.

A valid username and password is required to operate the MvTv Scheduler Administrator to remotely manage your own MvTv Server and MvTv Clients.

Email support@microvideo.com and we'll evaluate your request for a fully functioning license.

 
MvTv Repeater Server

(Includes the MvTv Library and Database, which stores and distributes the video clips and text messages for distribution to the MvTv Clients when updates are requested by them.
